Join us on Friday August 15th for a '5 Mile Dinner' at Long Acre House. Mike Melo of M&C
Restaurant in New Bedford has created a menu of shellfish, free range chicken, squash, potatoes, greens, herbs,
fruit, and even the cheese all sourced from within 5 miles of Westport Rivers Vineyard.
Coastal New England is at its most spectacular in mid August. As always we will start at 5:00 with an in-depth
tour of the vineyard and winery to learn about the centuries old method for producing 'Traditional
Method' sparkling wines. We will then return to Long Acre House to enjoy some of Westport Rivers food
friendly wines chosen to compliment Mike Melo's local gastronomic creations. Part of the tour is outside
so please dress comfortably.
